How a TV presenter turned down the BBC to help Entrepreneurs Book Now

Our Guest Speaker is Anna Brees which worked as a television reporter and presenter for the BBC and ITV for 9 years and is now teaching others to film and edit professional looking video using their smartphones.

Anna also produced and presented the very first television magazine news programme for Penarth (Cardiff), which in 24 hours beat the readership of the local newspaper.

Driven and inspired by observing her own children’s media tastes and behaviour, she is preparing others for a future where the broadcasting brands of Netflix, Amazon, YouTube and Facebook will dominate the landscape over traditional terrestrial channels.

She is keen to help others use their smartphones to become community and citizen journalists, and move the trend away from vlogging to a more storytelling style.”
