Our First Speaker is Katie Killoran with a Talk entitled – Cancer Research Happening here in Wales.

Katie is a Corporate Fundraiser for Cancer Research Wales, Mum to Joseph who is 6 and the light of my life and Partner to Martin who works for BT.

She thoroughly enjoys her role in Cancer Research Wales as she feels she is giving back. Cancer Research Wales funds pioneering research here in Wales. It’s world-class and it’s local. So every donation we receive goes directly to our teams of leading scientists based here in Wales. It funds their work, helping them in the pursuit of a cure; making great discoveries in the areas of early diagnosis, better treatments and preventatives of cancer for the benefit of cancer patients globally.

Our Second Speaker is Lótë Ignipilis

Back in 1953 Elmar Pieroth, along with his brother Kuno, introduced the “Personal Wine Tasting in the customer’s home”. He makes this the ideal opportunity for presenting an individual wine range, and offering superb customer service, the central point of a new subsidiary right here in the UK.

The quality of both the wines and the customer support is so popular that this key date marked the start of the growth of the House of Pieroth to its present size. Despite our success over the years, one thing has always been at the heart of everything we do – and that’s family. 340 years ago the Pieroth family began making wine, and they are still doing exactly that today.
